University of Ballarat Programs

NOTE: AMI Education is now known as Academies Australasia Polytechnic

Message from the Vice-Chancellor, University of Ballarat

The University of Ballarat had its beginnings in 1870 and in 2010 will celebrate its 140th anniversary. This makes it the third oldest tertiary institution in Australia.

We are the only regional university in Victoria providing technical, vocational and higher education programs. Our purpose is to provide a quality tertiary education experience that inspires our students to succeed. We are also committed to serving our regions and communities, and we are proudly international in our outlook and impact. There are approximately 25,000 students studying at the University.

The University has gained a national reputation for its commitment to high quality learning, teaching and training, for its applied research and for its engagement with industry, business and its regional communities and for its innovative Technology Park in Ballarat. Importantly, the University of Ballarat is a people-focused institution and it has much pride in its staff, students, alumni, and the communities it serves.

The University has also established partnership arrangements in several Australian capital cities and overseas to enable international students, in particular, to take advantage of what the University of Ballarat has to offer.

AMI Education has been a partner of the University for 5 years and has during that time successfully collaborated to provide international students with an opportunity to receive a University qualification that will be internationally recognised. The University guarantees the quality of University of Ballarat programs at AMI Education.
On behalf of the University I wish you every success studying your chosen University of Ballarat program at AMI Education.

Professor David Battersby

Vice-Chancellor, University of Ballarat
