Federal and State Legislation
Commonwealth and State Legislation govern the study contract between the Student and Academies Australasia Polytechnic. As such, Academies Australasia Polytechnic, through its policies and procedures, upholds the provision of this legislation particularly in relation to the following jurisdictions:
The Vocational Education & Training (VET) Act
The Workplace Relations Act (Sex Discrimination Act)
The ESOS Act
The VET Equity Policy Act
Occupational Health and Safety Act
National Code of Practice for Providers of Education Services to Overseas Students
Academies Australasia Polytechnic may vary such conditions of enrolment and/or operations as may be necessary to comply with Commonwealth and State Legislation.
Articulation & National Recognition
Academies Australasia Polytechnic is operated in accordance with a government regulated quality assurance approach. All qualifications issued by Academies Australasia Polytechnic are recognized within the Australia Qualifications Framework and are issued under the authority of the Victorian Qualifications Authority; this allows the qualifications and Statements of Attainment issued by Academies Australasia Polytechnic to be recognized by all other training providers under the provisions of "Mutual Recognition" of nationally accredited qualifications, which apply throughout Australia.
Academies Australasia Polytechnic will assist students to prepare for and negotiate placement and advanced standing in university courses throughout Australia. Graduates of Academies Australasia Polytechnic courses may also apply for placement in University Degree programs offered in partnership with Australian universities at Academies Australasia Polytechnic campus.
