AMI Education Graduates Attributes

When an AMI Education student graduates s/he will have undertaken a rigorous course of study and acquired important subject knowledge that will provide the foundation for a professional or entrepreneurial career. Graduate attributes complement this knowledge and are an important bridge between what a newly graduating student knows and what they can do.
These attributes address the generic skills of learners: leadership and collaborative behaviours; information literacy and communication skills; and the social attributes and orientations that make entrepreneurs and good citizens– creativity, ethics and a passion for sustainable solutions to business problems.
At AMI Education we take these graduate attributes seriously as they underpin the future success of our students. Graduate attributes are important building blocks for our course design and teaching – learning approaches. Development of these attributes helps prepare our graduates for a challenging and dynamic future as and will make them more employable and better citizens.
AMI Education students will measure their academic progress, experience and development of graduate attributes through e-folios – an electronic and portable archive of their achievements and reflections on learning.
The AMI Education Graduate Attributes, what they mean and how they are assessed appear below.
