School Facilities

Academies Australasia Polytechnic (AAPoly) offers a range of state of the art facilities at 628 Bourke Street in Melbourne city. So regardless of where you study, you will not only feel comfortable and relaxed, but you will also have the resources you need to enhance your learning experience.

AAPoly's Bourke Street Campus Facilities

You will have access to communal study areas and computer areas for self study purposes outside class times, funky meals areas with fridge, microwave, water cooler, coffee machine and student lounge overlooking a shared communal tennis court, outdoor recreation area, BBQ station for shared use, wireless internet and use of coin operated photocopy machine.

AAPoly's Library

We encourage AAPoly students to take advantage of the campus library facility located at Level 7, 628 Bourke Street. As an AAPoly student you may borrow books and approach the Library Staff for assistance between 9:00 -12:30 and 1:30-5:30 on weekdays.

The City Library on Flinders Lane is also available to you. AAPoly students may become a member of this library and enjoy its vast range of books, videos, DVDs, computers and electronic material.

The State Library of Victoria is also located nearby (the corner of Swanston and La Trobe Streets). This library houses a significant amount of digital and print based resources which you are able to print and copy for learning purposes.

CAVAL Reciprocal Borrowing Program

AAPoly's students enrolled in Federation University Australia's programs at AAPoly are eligible to register for the the CAVAL Reciprocal Borrowing Program. This borrowing program is a scheme whereby students of participating academic libraries are able to borrow material from other participating Victorian academic libraries.
