COUNSELING & CULTURAL ASSIMILATION
ORIENTATION PROGRAMME
Every new student will undergo a comprehensive orientation programme. This will include the following areas:
- Studying Vocational Education/ELICOS in Australia
- AMI policies and expectations
- Relevant Australian regulations
- Occupational Health & Safety procedures
- Transport, health, banking and postal services
COUNSELING
AMI provides counseling and pastoral care to students in the following areas:
- Personal, emotional and cultural issues
- Learning skills
- Education information
- Information on Student Visas
- Student health cover
- International students’ obligations with respect to Immigration
Department requirements.
Academic counseling will be provided by the relevant Director
of Studies.
