FEDERAL & STATE LEGISLATION

STUDY CONTRACT
Commonwealth and State Legislation govern the study contract between the Student and AMI Education. As such, AMI Education, through its policies and procedures, upholds the provision of this legislation particularly in relation to the following jurisdictions:

• The Vocational Education & Training (VET) Act
• The Workplace Relations Act (Sex Discrimination Act)
• The ESOS Act
• The VET Equity Policy Act
• Privacy Regulations
• Occupational Health and Safety Act
• National Code of Practice for Providers of Education Services to Overseas Providers

AMI Education may vary such conditions of enrolment and/or operations as may be necessary to comply with Commonwealth and State Legislation.

ARTICULATION & NATIONAL RECOGNITION
AMI Education is operated in accordance with a government regulated quality assurance approach. All qualifications issued by AMI Education are recognized within the Australia Qualifications Framework and are issued under the authority of the Victorian Qualifications Authority; this allows the qualifications and Statements of Attainment issued by AMI Education to be recognized by all other training providers under the provisions of "Mutual Recognition" of nationally accredited qualifications, which apply throughout Australia.

UNIVERSITY PLACEMENTS
AMI Education will assist students to prepare for and negotiate placement and advanced standing in university courses throughout Australia. Graduates of AMI Education courses may also apply for placement in university degree programmes offered in partnership with Australian universities at AMI education campus.
